For fine finishing of walls or furniture making, grade I/II or elite grade E with a smooth surface is needed. In high humidity conditions in Phuket, FSF plywood or film-faced plywood is mandatory for maximum protection. Pros of film-faced: waterproof, ideal for formwork and outdoor structures. Cons: high price. Technical data: check thickness (6-30 mm) and marking. We recommend birch FSF plywood for strength. We will deliver the required grade and format to your site.

Plywood is a multi-layer sheet material made of glued veneer. For the humid climate of Phuket, the key types are: FC plywood (moisture-resistant) for interior finishing, furniture, and subflooring inside. FSF plywood (increased moisture resistance) is suitable for exterior work: battens for siding, formwork, cladding gazebos. Pros: high strength, resistance to warping, ease of processing (cutting, sanding). Cons: FC is not for outdoors, FSF contains formaldehyde. For villas, we recommend FSF, for apartments — FC.
